Magnum Photos launches their new Blog
|
Another blog in the blog, blog world… Magnum officially launched their blog today and I am really happy about that.
During my last stay in New York we started to develope a concept for the blog, during the last two months I was working on the layout and the technical implementation of it. I hope it proofs to be worth the work! But I am pretty sure it will… :-)

Curious to hear what you think of it. Any feedback, whatever that might be is appreciated…

Good layout, easy to navigate, and the choice of black/gray definetely suits the content. Overall, very good.

Blog this, blog that. There is a tendency these days towards over thinking and writing too much—simply excess communication! We already spend all sorts of time writing e-mails, researching and processing images on our computers! While it’s great to hear the back story on some famous image, it’s also important for all of us to just get out and simply shoot! I, for one, will be limiting my time on Lightstalkers etc. There comes a point when musing publicly about black and white developers etc. just gets out of control! There just seems to be so much extra chatter these days with the web.

Dear all
The American Photo blog ’State of the Art" wrote about us a couple of days ago – http://stateoftheart.popphoto.com/blog/2007/02/magnum_launches.html
I’d just like to add, because the blog doesn’t make it specific, that Martin Fuchs was the primary advocate for this project and nurtured the blog from thought to reality. The design is his and he deserves an awful lot of the credit.
Thanks, Martin.
