mamiya 7 pressure plate 120-220 change

hi, very basic question: can anyone tell me how to change the settings on this? i’ve tried pushing the plate down and sliding it and also tried rotating it, but no luck, so it seems i’m not doing somthing right…..

You should be there already: Push it down – then rotate… If it doesn’t work, something must be stuck. Good luck. D

Hi Jake, just got home and found my 7II. I think you may have jinxed it! Mine is acting a bit weird now! No, I just had to jiggle it a bit. Somehow you don’t have to press the plate all the way down, just a tiny bit and then start rotation. If it is already in the 110 position, then turn clockwise. If it is in 220, then turn counter clockwise.
