Western Kentucky University, School of Journalism and Broadcasting is seeking applicants to fill a Manager of Photojournalism Labs in its nationally recognized, ACEJMC-accredited photojournalism program. Anticipated start date is August 2007.
Responsibilities: â€¢ Supervising the photojournalism programâ€™s two Apple computer labs, wet darkroom and photography studio. â€¢ Assisting the Director of the Mountain Workshops, Westernâ€™s annual photography, picture editing and multimedia workshops. â€¢ Coordinating exhibits for the School of Journalism and Broadcastingâ€™s gallery.
Qualifications: â€¢ Bachelorâ€™s Degree with an academic and professional background in photography. â€¢ Must have a visual background, Apple computer networking experience, excellent leadership qualities and organizational skills.
The School of Journalism and Broadcasting, designated a Kentucky Program of Distinction, is housed in an $18.5 million state-of-the-art building. The photojournalism program includes four full-time faculty and one staff member. Salary Grade: 108 Expected Minimum Salary: $32,712.00 annually.
