Marla

Hello everyone,
I’m sorry to post this news here, but I think most have already heard.
Marla Ruzicka was killed yesterday in Baghdad. She was, to say the least, a dynamic and tireless activist, and a unique figure in the messed up places we work. She was 27.

NBC News will do a story on Marla on Nightly News tonight. James Hattori is the correspondent. CNN will also be doing a story, with correspondent Jane Arraf.

I’m passing on an email from Matt MacAllistair regarding her funeral.
