Multi media

Hi all
It’s been a long time
I was wondering if any one knows about multimedia presentations programs, software. I have to do a series of slide shows using photographs, sound and video and don’t know any of it. Is final cut suitable to do this? Is there any software to use that is easy to manage to achieve this.
Any help is appreciated.
Bests,

Hi Carlos. Fina Cut is the best for do it but the learn curve is something that can slow you if you have little time. Another option is Aperture if you use Mac. With aperture you can do a very good edited mix of photos, sounds and video. The bad side is that you can’t have several sounds tracks. If you need complex tracks of sound will be better to do it with Final Cut or do the image video, mixing photos and video in Aperture, and then mix the complex sounds mixing in FC. In case you or something that are reading this is not familiar to manage, to mix photos and video is better you reduce the size of the photos and add some sharpening before begin the general edition with video. Your software will run smoother and the results will be better. I learned it by trial and error. Buena suerte colega

Adobe Premier también te puede servir Carlos, Final Cut es muy bueno! Con el hicimos el audiovisual de la Comunidad de Paz de San José de Apartadó
Saludos!

Hola Carlos, Final Cut is great if you are familiar with it, or you can try iMovie if you have a Mac. I use FCP but I have colleagues who like iMovie and say it’s easy.
Multimediashooter.com is a good resource, and mediastorm.com has some great multimedia pieces too.
cuidate y buena suerte!
