hi Brian,
are some of these cross processed? A handful almost look painterly, what is that?
There are a lot of images there, they moved a little quickly for my eye, I’d rather a tighter edit so I could really take in the most powerful ones. thanks for sharing..

I use fuji neg film and the lab provided scans then the usual dodging and burning w/photoshop. I gadged the tone based upon my needs as a commercial photographer. I liked using the entire song as an homage to the men and women for whom the project was created.
When I send it to my advertising contacts I will send a completely different version.

Also, and this is probably just me being English, I don’t get the relevance of the bagpipe music? Scottish or Irish firefighters maybe (?!), but these guys are in Florida.

I agree with others, tighter editing. Also the music made me think the slideshow was going to be about a firefighter funeral; only about 30 sec in did I figure out it was about the lives of firefighters.
