My Gallery Is Gone

The new Ruby on Rails system on which LS is now based has to be finetuned. There are problems with things backing up and other matters that I myself do not understand. But once the kinks are worked out it will be possible to introduce new things and make everything as a whole work better. The older system was about to spontaneously combust. We cannot handle the kind of traffic we get now in the old manner, and we are going to keep growing at fast pace, so we need to prepare for the future. That means putting up with little problems presently.

Hi guys — Jon’s right, we have had to do a lot of emergency upgrading and shuffling in the past couple weeks. If you’re having trouble with your gallery, the fastest solution is to re-upload your photos. Thanks for bearing with us through this.
