New B-GAN for video
|
I´m looking for feed back about new models of BGAN. I´m interested in buying a new one (I have a Hughes now)
For instance, do you know how good is the SABRE model for video?
Any information will be good!
THANKS!
Stay safe,
Unai,

Unai,
Models do not matter, whether it is Thrane or NEC, what is the speed that you are able to get ? You need a good encoding software too.

Thanks Anamitra. I´m using a Hughes for TV and seems good.

Some BGAN models are faster than others… but the Hughes is already at the top-end when it comes to speeds, so changing models won’t help you. The Hughes seems pretty popular with TV folks. As Anamitra says, the choice of encoding (and therefore resulting file size) is more important. I’m not a video expert, but I’d imagine H.264 encoding with CABAC would probably be the most efficient. Handbrake is pretty good – http://handbrake.fr/
