441 just passing along:<br/> <br/> <p>One World festival invites film makers to submit their documentary films and videos! </p> <p>The 8th One World Human Rights International Documentary Film Festival will take place from <strong>2 - 9 March 2006</strong> in Prague, Czech Republic. </p> <p>The submission deadline is <strong>November 1st 2005</strong>. We kindly ask you to send your entries as soon as possible. </p> <p>The selection results will be announced no later than <strong>February 1st 2006</strong>. The festival will inform all entrants by email, fax or letter. </p> <p>Films can be selected for the <strong>Main Competition, Right to Know Competition, Short Forms Competition and non-competitive thematic categories</strong>. </p> <p><strong>Submission rules:</strong></p> <ul> <li> The festival accepts short and feature length documentary films and short animation films with human-rights themes.</li> <li> Only films completed <strong>after January 2005</strong> can be considered for the competitive program.</li> <li> If you would like to submit your film, please fill in the entry form and post us a preview cassette (Pal VHS or DVD format). The online entry form is sufficient and you do not need to resend a hardcopy with the tape. <strong>However, only submissions containing both completed entry form and preview tape or DVD will be accepted</strong>. </li> <li> Press cuttings and any additional information are welcomed but not obligatory. </li> <li> Before signing the entry form please read carefully the festival rules and regulations.By signing the entry form and sending the requested material you also agree with the festival <a target="_self" href="http://www.oneworld.cz/ow/2006/down/rules_and_regulations.pdf">rules and regulations</a>. </li> <li> Please send all material to: One World / People in Need, Sokolska 18, Praha 2, 120 00, Czech Republic.</li> <li> <strong>When sending a VHS or DVD to the festival, please always specify: for non-commercial use.</strong></li> <li> The submission deadline is <strong>November 1st 2005</strong>.</li> <li> Due to the large number of submissions, preview copies will not be returned. </li> <li> In case your film is selected we accept the following screening formats: 35mm, 16mm, Beta SP Pal, DVCam, Mini DV, DVD.
