Paris Hotel

Can anyone recommend a nice, well-located, pleasant, and not very expensive hotel in Paris? I’d be grateful for any advice.

Best,
Phil

Ibis! they have dozens of locations, wireless internet in the rooms and parking. and one of the cheapest with a standard they have to observe because it’s a chain. i think it’s www.ibis.com or .fr

this I am told is more suitable for a longer stay, not bad location, etc., but you only got a really good price because of some joint deal with eurostar (train that runs from london to paris under the channel), so I don’t know if this is good as a stand alone idea.

have a look at the map – stone’s throw away from the tower. and not that expensive when you keep the superb location in mind.

Thanks for all the replies and tips. Most helpful. I’ve now come and gone and had a good time. Nice town.
