Peru-jungle-Puerto Maldonado
|
Heading to Peru in November and i’d like to organize a trip into the jungle starting in Puerto Maldonado. I’d like to be able to meet with various tribes in the area as this is the start of a documentary based on the rights of indigenous peoples in Peru. I know there are many guide offerings in Puerto Maldonado, was wondering if anyone has a specific contact that they can recommend to get away from the usual hubbub of guided tours, someone experienced with photographers.
And any general recommendations for Peru also greatly appreciated. I will also head to Machu Pichu, Arequipa, and maybe Puno/Lake Titicaca

Hi. I’ve a friend which has a travel agency in Peru. I’m sure that he might help you out. Send me an email and I’ll forward it to him as an introduction. cheers

Did you already solve all your questions?

I can put you in contact with some people who work with the Indigenous People in that area, and know Peru well. Let me know if you want an intro.
