photo permit for Street of Hormuz

I was asked to do on overview shot at the Street of Hormuz, like ships passing through, etc.

As I haven’t been there yet, I am wondering if anyone has experience at this particular part of the Arabian Peninsula? Is it open for UAE residents? Photography restrictions?

Thanks.

Hello Martin,
I’ve been there 2 years ago, on the Queshm Island in front of Hormuz street.
The south side of the island (that one in front of the street) is military area, and there is many military turrets,
a street go along the sea, i take picture from the beach but not of military place.
The island is a tax free zone full of bazar and university, turism is everywere from iran and gulf country (this is for poor turist KIsh island is for rich).
if you want to know more ask…

bye
Luca
