Photo Agency Sales position still accepting applications

Hello all, my name is Travis Beard, current chief editor of Aina Photo Agency in Kabul, Afghanistan. Aina was the first media agency to be opened after the fall of the Taliban. We have just finished our 5th photojournalism course and now have several new photographers to add to our books. Along with these up and coming image makers, we have over 5000 images of Afghanistan in our archives.

We are looking for someone to become the international trader of these images. The candidate must have a thorough knowledge of the international press/print industry, must have extensive experience in selling images, must have experience in media marketing and preferably some knowledge of central Asia’s current climate both political and media industry related.We are not looking necessarily photographers who want to work in Afghanistan.

We offer a reasonable salary, plus accommodation and food. The chosen candidate would first be on a 3 month trial with possibility of signing a year by year contract.
