412 The PhotoShelter / FotoQuote rights managed pricing tool is now live. PhotoShelter users can now create pricing profiles for their images to sell online without photographer intervention via PhotoShelters e-commerce solutions (either a paypal or merchant account). The tool allows photographers to set up different profiles for different sets of images and to control the pricing and availability of the images depending on country/region. For example: Maybe a photographer has an agency managing their images for U.S. clients only - they can set up pricing profiles that do not include the U.S. so as not to violate their contractual obligations with their agency. The tool is quite powerful and customizable - as usual - they folks at PhotShelter have done a great job of implementation and have really thought this through carefully.
