Place to crash in Barcelona?

Hello friends,

Very short notice, but I am looking for a cheap (or FREE) place for two photo ladies (myself and Kathryn Cook) to crash in Barcelona… apparantly I spent all my money on baguettes and beer in perpignan. Through Sept 13 (this wed morning) would be ideal, but whatever you have is great. Will take host out for tappas in exchange…

Hi Alan! Moises is in Bcl, but he is visiting his mom. And I don’t know Lorena… I imagine this is a lost cause as its such short notice. Just trying to avoid a 100 Euro hotel bill. And why aren’t you down here?! I heard the Nola projection went really well : )

Hi Erin

Back from Perp myself. I’m staying @ Hotel Aneto at the Plaza Catalunya in the city center. Found a double for 60 Euros/night. They may or may not have space. But the room is clean and a block from La Rembla. Their 411:

Camern, No. 38
tel. 93 301 99 89 and 93 301 90 64.

You can send me text messages with questions at +1 541 953 2613

I’d offer up part of my room, but there’s only 1 unused single. I also leave early Wed morning (the 12th) for a return flight to Portland.

Thanks Sol. We are staying across from the Franca train station in an apt, split 5 (bunk beds) ways for about 20 Euro a night… which is a pretty good deal, but we were hoping to save our 20 for food and fun stuff instead of a room. Did you already pay through Wednesday? If we end up staying here and have extra space by tomorrow, you can room with us… the more people we have, the cheaper it will be for everyone. I’m at +33642308310. cheers, e

glad you found a place, erin, sounds like decadent good times.
Lorena is Lorena Ros, she’s a native barcelonan on lightstalkers and at http://www.lorenaros.com/

NOLA projection was insane, we had all kinds of technical problems but it did look beautiful and moving on the levee wall, and we will be projecting the show again at the Bubblew Lounge in NY, details TBA.

and as for me, i always avoid perpignan! i mean, that many photographers in one place?!? i’d rather go to burning man, though i haven’t made it to that yet either…
