Portable storage
|
I’m not actually if this even exists… I am after a portable hard drive which runs on batteries and I want to be able to remove my camera memory card and store it straight onto this hard drive without having to have a laptop or pc with me. This would be so I can go out into the field and not have to have 10 or more memory cards on what will be a 2 week trip.
Can anyone advise please?

there are a lot of devices like this on the market, at one time there was a fairly complete list on a french website but I cannot find it in google at moment.. I have used flashtrax (worked well but died 3x – fortunately with no loss of data) and I know someone that has used the Epson in africa and on a grand canyon trip with great results.. but they are expensive..

You can also use your ipod storage with a special CF card adaptor.

Many thanks guys.
I have found a Ex-Pro Picture 2 Drive (60gb) for under £80. Not bad I thought.
