Scott, I see you’ve figured out an alternate method of embedding images in posts/comments… however, the image you’ve embedded is requiring HTTP authentication. You will probably want to un-require it for this purpose…

I have no idea what that means… the picture was from a password protected gallery on my website- does that cause a problem?

Did you remove the picture from your comment, Scott? In any event — when you embed a photo from your password-protected site in a Lightstalkers post, that password protection continues to apply. It’s definitely confusing, because it looks for all the world as though Lightstalkers wants a password…

ahhh, ok. but the pictures posted to need to be hosted elsewhere….? or can one upload them to LS?

I’m in East Turkey at present and have just rolled off over 600 pictures of the Jelali nomads living at 2500-3000 metres on Mount Ararat.

I’ll post a few when I get back to the UK and have the slides developed.

Shinji: you are the man!

I can not see the thumb nails photos that start off my Galleries. The box is there however it has a red X along with the pic file name. How can I fix this??

Yeah, good news, sweet and very cool, etc. no doubt, but so far I see absolutely no explanation how to actually post pictures with a message! Trial and error I guess. I just tried in the only way I can think of with my simple pre-internet age mind – copy/paste – and of course it doesn’t work. So what’s the big fat secret dudes???
