Pricing Prints?

Hi all!

If you sell prints in galleries and such, how do you come up with a price for your prints?
Is it just a gut feeling or do you take any kind of criteria into account?
Would you say that bigger prints should necessarily be more expensive than smaller ones?
I guess that in the end it all comes to search and demand and that the most important factor in determining print prices is probably the author’s reputation, but I’m not sure if I’m willing to sell my prints for the price of my reputation, I might prefer giving them for free to my friends…
Any thoughts on this?
