Private messaging problem
|
Private messaging seems not to work. I get an error message when I try to either look at mine or send any. I also see that if I get a notice that I have a private message, if I try to click on it, I can’t see it, and it goes back to 0 messages. Is this a browser or software problem? Using Mac, and Firefox. Is there any other way to check messages?

What you are describing conforms to the LS privacy policy for Private Messages. It is very secure. Privacy is guaranteed.

JLP—-What we have been doing and you can do it as well——is make a new topic on the main board that begins with “Private Message” with the person you want to send the PM too right after it, so then that person can see it and get the message and so if it does not have your name, you just don’t look at it. Its simple but it works pretty well I think.

Ha! They are private indeed! I suppose everybody has been having this problem then. Thanks David, will try that, or just got to the members listed website, if applicable. It used to work, ah well, lots of things like that these days. Thanks.

You have heard about the pig with one leg, right? The farmer loved him too much to slaughter him—-so, you just do what you have to do and that’s it—-even if it’s just a little bit at a time.

I’m having a problem with public messaging: All my new posts get saved and then immediately deleted. I’m not able to successfully create new posts that last beyond a few seconds. Maybe some built-in filter has decided they weren’t worth reading anyway.
