profile prompt

I’m wondering if it’s not obvious to some members that that they can “edit profile” and add contact info/bio/etc, once they have registered a member ID.

that might explain a lot of the members who are just names, nothing else. either that or we have a lot of lazy wankers on deck.

maybe we should add a line or two on the first page, that reminds new members to fill in their profiles, once they sign up.

hey t, I missed it until you pinged me about it. I don’t recall the exact page sequence first time I logged in, but was thinking an interesting idea might be to send first time logins directly to the edit profile page. First thing you see like. That way lazy wankers like me will have no excuses!

Heyo Teru — I’m thinking about solutions to this; I think this is relevant to the membership tier discussion, and I’ll try to come up with a solution which solves both problems.
