recycling again
|
hi all —
what’s the word on ink cartridges for printers (epson, etc.)?
I have a vague recollection that these things get reloaded, not just recycled?

I believe the local FedEx and Kinkos place will take them, any inkjet cartridge. It’s apparently lucrative for them.

thanks Fernando — will try that out

staples accepts them as well i think. they also have this recycling for education program whereby Staples will donate $1 directly to your school for every eligible ink or toner cartridge you collect. I guess you have to find a participating school or student to give the cartridges to. here’s a link: www.staplesrecyclefored.com

Sitting at a mid-town Kinkos using the hotspot …..
you can pick up mailers from Kinkos/FedEx to return your cartridges for recycling for free. Pick up as many mailers as you want, hold on to them and pass them around to your friends.
