Ricoh GR-Digital II shots at ISO400 and 800

In another thread there is a discussion of the GRD2 vs the Canon G9 — I’ve never used the latter but like the GRD2 a lot. Here are some shot’s from Huahin, a seaside resort two hours by car south of Bangkok; these are from a series of 32 shots of Huahin Market, which you can see by n clicking here.

I should add that I accentuated the grain by adding in LightZone USM of 20/50/0 for additional mid-tone contrast.

Pardon my stupid comment, but sInce the more objectionable digital noise is chroma noise, these b&w versions of the original color files speak only about the more pleasant, the luminance half of the story.
