See A Lot Of 1'S In Your Gallery?

In the Lightstalkers photo galleries, some of you are seeing a list of ones, like this:

1 1 1 1 1 1

I’m working on a general fix, but in the meantime, you can fix it yourself by going to My Gallery and dragging your photos around. This changes the sort order.

Also, the drag-and-drop is new, so let me know if anything’s hinky there.

Thanks again for bearing with us as we finalize the transition…

Hi Shinji,
The drop-and-drag is great and works no problem. Moving 1 picture sorted out all the 1’s. When I click someones gallery, the opening window is small and needs to be pulled open; this done the pics sit butted agaianst the left hand side and flush with the top grey banner: no “thumbnails”, next or last signs.
Looks fine

Hi, Shinji,

The initial drag-and-drop works great, but when I visit LS my images seem to re-sort themselves occasionally (not necessarily every time I reopen my browser either).

Thanks!

Hi Shinji,

First of all thanks for creating this wonderfull place. Just love it.
Wanted to tell you i’ve got the same problem with my gallery as Wayne. Seems to remember the rearranging my pics for a while, but lets say i check it out a day later, they’ve switched places again.
Any advice?
Thanks again.

why no more LS e-mail alerts?

Gallery is still random. I deleted most of my images and then uploaded them again, and now they are all over the place in unsightly random order. Any solution?

Whatever you do Shinji, don’t beat yourself up over this. You’ll always be our hero.

Thanks for that — although we’ve ironed out a ton of wrinkles in the code, server performanc remains a major issue. In the last 24 hours we’ve had considerable downtime, and even now the photos are invisible again. They’ll be back soon. Thanks again everyone,

Hi Shinji,

I’ve re-uploaded as suggested, no probs, the drag & drop is handy…. and very nice to be able to put a few more images up than before, thank you!

Just one suggestion – might it be possible to have a ‘next’ & ‘back’ arrow to go through the galleries, in addition to or instead of the ‘12345678910….’ etc etc, as it is set up now?

Thanks, Paul

I agree with Paul – things are great again, but Forward and Back buttons would be very nice.
