The photography area in The Ohio State University’s Departmentof Art is searching for a full-time Senior Lecturer (non-tenure track faculty, 1-3year(s) appointment) beginning in the 2011 -2012 school year. The idealcandidate should have more than two years college-level teaching experience,possess advanced level B&W wet darkroom capabilities, and is able to teach digitalimaging and printing or a combination of the following classes; alternativephotographic processes, large format photography, and/or studio lighting. Thecandidate must have knowledge and be well versed in the theoretical,contemporary and historical lineage of photography.
The Senior Lecturer in Photography is a full time facultyposition and will work closely with the Department of Art faculty,undergraduate, and graduate students. The Senior Lecturer will also have accessto the vast resources available at OSU. This includes 24-hour access to studiospace, as well as borrowing privileges from the campus libraries. Inclusion inFaculty Exhibitions, service on departmental committees and participation inthe creative community of OSU and Columbus will be encouraged.

Minimum Qualifications:
