Never shameless show your own pictures. Congratulations and good luck.
|
Congrats Ed!
I love your work, nothing to be shamed about by letting people know where you can see it!
Goodluck with it!
|
Geezus…Congrats bro. I’ll be there. Cheers, G.
|
Photographers need have no shame…….
|
Nice one Ed… Wish you all the best with the show, I wish I could come and see those prints.
|
thanks all…
though kinda scratching my head….was thinking shameless (no shame) as opposed to shamefull
either way, would be great see ya all if ya can make it….if not…another time
|
What, you have not shame to show them? Only joking, you are right, i have to learn more english. You forget to put the hour of the opening. Make the self plug work. I will be there in spirit, some spirit drink maybe. Going to States is like to fly to moon for me. Yep, in another time.
|
Congrats Ed – I’d love to see your photographs. However I’ll be in NYC the fourth weekend of October and will just miss your show. I guess I’ll have to settle for the pictures of that other street photographer – what’s his name – Bob – yeah, Bob Frank. Good luck with your show!

Ed-you don’t need shameless self plugs. Your work speaks for itself.
Now get it on tour in the UK after Brooklyn!
|
hey all, thanks for the words.
a couple of quick notes.
the Nioka Trio (Nioka Workman cello, ’Flip" Lewis Barnes trumpet, Reggie Nicholson percussion) will be performing their blend of jazz and funk at the gallery on the fifth also… http://niokakimworkman.com/2.html
and Amy Stein mentioned a coupe of other openings on the same floor at 111 Front on her blog.

seeing: ed leveckis
in the middle of the night i awoke from a dream. i had seen ed leveckis’ beautiful new digital work at flicr…..and i thought: to see……
to remember what you saw in the space of a moment when the garage-door-lids of your eyes close in their unhinging blink: to remember what you saw when your eye(s) blinked….what you saw when your eyes, for an instant, could not see.
a sounding…..

Yes, it is shameless, horribly shameless, but what can you do? If you don’t toot your own horn no one will toot it for you. Much luck with it, guy
|
Ed… Any good munchies & booze at the opening? :):):)
|
Would love to see your stuff lined up on a gallery wall but am on wrong side of ocean now. Bring it to London.
|
thanks all….G, absolutely.
