They use those same plugs in Malaysia, Singapore and the UAE, too.

I got in a huge argument in shitty arabic with a shopkeeper in Agadir Morocco because he was trying to sell me TWO adapters (wow, like the total was 5 bucks) and I kept insisting I only needed the one. Funny, he was right! I went back and bought more for the others…
I’m sure if I paid attention I would have picked up the Moroccan Arabic word for Dumbass…
