Somosfoto Workshop and World Press Exhibit in St Domingo

Somosfoto has arranged for the World Press Photo exhibit to be viewed in Santo Domingo as the Casa Reales, opening on March 17th. In addition they are running a workshop here with some very good people at the helm, so you all might want to check it out. The whole shebang takes place between March 15th to the 21st. I will most likely be attending the opening at the Casa Reales. Check out their website (link given above). This event is made possible by the tireless and amazing efforts of professor Lelen Bourgoignie-Robert, among others, of the University of Miami’s Visual Journalism dept and is backed by the Knight Center for International Media.

Application deadline for the workshop is February 29th. Come on down and have some fun!
