Studio 304 Slideshow Call for Entries: March 6

Studio 304 Slideshow in Bushwick invites artists and photographers working in all media, styles and schools of thought to participate in our next screening to be held on SATURDAY March 6th at 4pm during theArt’s In Bushwick SITE Festival

Theme: Performance
We are asking that artists consider photography/video in and as performance, where these modes intersect, and where they diverge.

The slideshow is open to all visual arts: Photography, paintings, multimedia, video, etc. – all are welcome as long as they are short (under 5 minutes) and in a digital format that we can project from our laptop to the big screen. If you are interested in presenting work, please email Mara Catalan at info@studio304.org , or jan mun at msjanmun@gmail.com.

We will be transmitting our slideshow and a live performance via the internet from our studio to La Boca “Espacio de Cultura” a gallery in MADRID, Spain. (Don’t miss it!)

Please get in touch with Mara or Jan soon if you wish to show work. (Please be on time with the delivery since we have to set up the show a few days in advance.)

Deadline for sending the work is March 1st.

For those of you who don’t know, this is a really great space/community and opportunity to project, share and see great work.

*Submission requirements:

For Videos and Multimedia:
-less than 5 minutes
-burned to a dvd or cd
-able to play on Mac standard software
-no internet required

For Still Images:
- images should be JPEGs
-images should be 1024 pixels on the long side of the image (screen
resolution is 1024×768)
-files should be numbered sequentially with numerals and artists name
(01Catalan.jpg, 02Catalan.jpg)
-25 images or less (but if you have a special idea, this is negotiable)
-you may include an mp3 file as a soundtrack to accompany your images

Mailing/Dropoff:
Please mail or drop off your CD/DVD to Studio 304. The address is:

You may drop off your CD/DVD during weekday business hours. Just go
to the above address and ring buzzer 17. This is the building office,
and you can drop your disc there from 9am-5pm.
