Studio 304 slide show_June 28th

Dear friends.

Here is our new announcement:

This is an invitation and call for entries to our (almost) monthly Studio 304 photographers’ slideshow in Brooklyn.
We’ve had three good shows so far this year, and we hope everyone can make it out again to the next installment on Thursday, June 28th.
Please come be a part of this Brooklyn-based photo-community gathering. (where photographers from all over the world are welcome).
We just ask that photographers be present to show their work.

In order to keep the slideshow to a decent length (around one hour) we’re
limiting space to 20 photographers.

Come for drinks at 7pm (BYOB, please) and the slideshow runs from about 8-9pm.

If you are interested in presenting work, please email Mara Catalan at
info@studio304.org to reserve your spot in the slideshow. Please get in touch
with Mara soon if you wish to show work. We’re asking that images be submitted
on CD by Tuesday June 26th so that we have time to put together the evening’s
presentation. Submission guidelines and mailing/dropoff address are provided
below.

Submission guidelines:
-25 photos or less
-photos should be JPEGs with pixel dimensions of 1024×768 (be it horizontal or
vertical, under Image Size in Photoshop just make sure the longest side of the
photo is 1024 pixels)
-filenames should contain numerical sequence and photographer’s name
(01Catalan.jpg, 02Catalan.jpg)
-please contact Mara to reserve your slot in the show before sending images

Mailing/Dropoff
Please mail or drop off your CD to Studio 304. The address is:

Brooklyn, NY 11206

You may drop your CD off at Studio 304 during business hours. Just go to
the above address and ring buzzer number 17. This is the building office, and
you can drop your CD there from 9am-5pm. If necessary, contact Mara for other
delivery arrangements.

I have to say that I just came back last night from Spain working with Jim Goldberg in Al-Liquindoi workshop in Cadiz,
and it was the very best experience. I would also like to congratulate Jim for his new award HCB Award 2007
