The Full Frame DSLR Camera vs The Analogue 35 mm Rangefinder Camera

Dear All Out There,

This is an invitation for any photographers on lightstalkers.org to participate in an academic online ethnographic questionnaire.

I will need about 12 photographers to participate and answer a short online e mail questionnaire by the end of June 2013

You will need to sign a standard academic consent letter and answer about nine questions on a questionnaire that I will e mail directly to you.

If you are willing to participate in this project, you can indicate this in a reply to this post with your name and e mail contact details.

My BA Honours degree is in Media and Cultural Studies at The University of KwaZulu Natal. To complete my studies, I have to do a research project, and the title of this research project is:

“The Full Frame DSLR Camera vs The Analogue 35 mm Rangefinder Camera: investigating professional photographer’s use of and attitudes to these two cameras”

The motivation and and background to the project is try to contextualise, understand and interpret the impact that these two types of cameras have on the outworking of photography.

Crap, JR, I’m game for anything, especially if it helps you get another degree. I use both kinds of those cameras. My email is on my LS profile, if you want to include me.

I am not a professional photographer in a strict sense (not generating most of my income) but I spend a lot of time taking pictures. I use DSLR, rangefinders, etc. I am game.
