The Global Leaders Fellowship Programme, at Oxford and Princeton, offers fellowships in world politics and political economy for holders of a doctorate who are nationals of a developing country.  Up to six fellowships, with appropriate stipends sufficient to cover full living costs, will be awarded in each of the next two years.  Fellows will study at Oxford for one year, followed by a year at Princeton. At Oxford Fellows are based at the Global Economic Governance Programme. At Princeton, the fellows are based in the Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
The programme creates a network of scholars and practitioners with expertise in the key issues surrounding globalisation. Promising early-career scholars are identified, with a particular emphasis on individuals from developing countries, and provided with a rigorous intellectual programme at two world-class institutions with considerable specific strengths in the political, economic, and policy issues surrounding globalisation. The Fellows become part of a network designed to give them support and mentorship.
