The State Journal, an award-winning newspaper in Frankfort, Ky., is seeking a photographer to shoot everything from breaking and spot news, to features, photo- pages and high school and college sports. Experience with Photoshop and Photo Mechanic a plus as well as enthusiasm and talent for video and slide productions for the newspapers’ Web site. All digital Nikon equipment provided by the newspaper. Competitive salary/health and benefits packages, including 401(K). Two years daily newspaper work preferred. Exceptional experience with a weekly will be considered. Frankfort is the capital with state government as part of the photographic mix. The geographic setting is Central Kentucky’s bluegrass and thoroughbred country.
