TV series rights fees
|
Does anyone have a figure on fee rights for a single image that is being used in an Aussie TV series that they are hoping to sell worldwide later?
Their wording is below….
“single photo for all rights, all media (excluding cinema) in Australasia for 5 years and also the same rights for Worldwide for 5 years?”
Would really appreciate any info… Cheers
Tim

I had a similar question a while back and somebody here suggested the alamy.com price calculator. Look for a similar image at alamy.com and then go through the pricing procedure. It seemed accurate enough.

Tim, don’t think we ever met, but kudos and respect for all your work and commitment over the years. If you figured this out by now, great, if not my two cents…the alamy pricing calculator could give you some starting points for a conversation with the client. If you need more than that msg me directly and I will negotiate for you with the client to make sure you get what you deserve. I have been in the photo licensing and assignment business for over 20 years on the agency side, so could help you figure this out. respectfully, David
