I had the same problem Kenneth. we got a new system here.  When you upload the photo it will appear at the top left hand corner, in the number one spot.  There will be little buttons below with arrows.  You can immediately move the image to the last spot by clicking on the arrow to far right, or you can simply shuffle the image along through the positions until you find the right spot, and all the other images will renumber themselves accordingly.  Once in position, type your caption in the space provided and hit "change caption."  The image will appear in your gallery in the space you desired.  Hope this helps.

you’re welcome Kenneth…I meant GORGEOUS,  not georgeous ;))))))))))…love the relationship between the army portraits (which look like toy-camera dreams) against the sadness of the gorgeous monochrome pics…haunting, indeed…bob

i kind of like georgeous

and believe it or not, the portraits were shot on a rolleiflex, not a toy camera.

Ken: that’s great, ’cause i love the haunted-halo shadowy loss of the rollei: as if they know, theyre haunted by awareness of what now, more than ever, wearing those uniforms could mean: the sadness leaking out from beneath their eyes just when theyre meant (for themselves) to hold up their pride: terribly haunting and melancholic pics. No denegration meant by suggesting the toy camera: meant that as a compliment, as the toys often show the chaos and ravaging of things more than precision: really georgeous work ;))
