Hi Ash! When are you launching in Australia (and will you be there)!! Congratulations on a dream come true… Your words (I read an excerpt) flow like poetry and your story is very insightful, touching and inspiring… Perhaps, one day soon, our paths will cross in another distant land!!

If anyone is in NYC, I highly recommend going- Ive seen and read Ash’s book and its fantastic. Great writing & imagery- some stunning work. Chapter 4… wow.

congrats, ashley, i’m not sure if i’m going to be in town, as i’m trying to get away to arizona and then the south again, but i look forward to getting the book when i get back…if you don’t sell them all out that is, which of course you will!

Thanks everyone. Response is great. I received lots of emails about which city it’s in, so I need to clarify — Orchard street is in New York City. Apparantly a lot of cities have an Orchard street.

Hi Ash, many congratulations, my copy arrived this morning, really great work! I do think this is the most complete coverage I have seen from any single photographer. The book deserves to do very well for you. Page 235 still one of my all time favourites. I hope the opening went well, I shall be back in Kabul on the 26th so I shall raise a glass to you at the ICP from there. Cheers mate, JPH.
