Why I Switched to Photoshelter
Great stuff! Thanks for sharing it. PhotoShelter’s portfolio capabilities were just what I waited on, too—and it’s proven to be spot on for my needs.

Hi Thomas,
It is good to be talking to you after the Photoshelter collection days.Good to hear about your experience.
Pl.clarify on :
1.When accessing your site there is a change in the template design. Is this intentional ?
2.I am also keen about the Portfolio feature. But on your site the Home page opens with the loading wheels spinning in blank space for 45 seconds before the images arrive and also during the course of the slide show there are stoppages as the images are slow to appear.
This is little annoying esp.when reports indicate that Photo editors don’t want to spend more than 15 seconds waiting for the images to come on.PS claims that this non-flash.Could this be a problem with my connection speed or the load times are always like this ?
Wonderful pictures.
best wishes,
Dev

Not sure what you mean by the template design. I use a Photoshelter template / skin, which I’ve modified to some extent. In the old Photoshelter days, there wasn’t a choice of templates to use.
Portfolio loading – probably connection speed. I have the same problem from time-to-time, as I have a slowish connection speed. Same with my old flash site with NeonSky. On a faster connection, I’ve always seen fast load times on my site and other PS sites. That’s the thing about having a web presence, there are things that one just can’t control.
