480 Entries are being accepted for the sixth annual WinePhoto, the International Photo Contest that takes place every year in Mogliano Veneto, between Venice and Treviso (Italy). Photographs should illustrate the theme "Men, Beasts and Heroes: Places and Stories of Drinking". The deadline for entries is June 12. Participation in the contest is free of charge. The first prize winner will receive 2500 Euros and a selection of fine wines valued at 500 Euros. Second prize is a workshop at Tuscany Photographic Workshop and a selection of fine wines. Third, Fourth and Fifth prize winners will each receive a selection of fine wines. The contest judges are Tiziana Faraoni, photo editor L’Espresso; Kent Kobersteen, former director of photography of National Geographic Magazine; Alex Majoli from Magnum; Grazia Neri, founder of Agenzia Grazia Neri; Paolo Pellegrin from Magnum; and Barbara Stauss, photo editor of Mare Magazine. A special mention will be given by the journalists Sangwang Lee, Paolo Marchi and Regina Schrambling.
