Well, from a sociological point of view looks like right. Its clear that you catch the atmosphere of the event and managed to transform it into images.
From a photographical point of view (if you interested about that anyway) i should say that only 1-2 pictures have really an artistic impact, driving the eye of the viewer away from the obvious and presenting the situation through YOU, as a photographer and not only as an event intermediator.
In other words, this “portfolio” could easily fill some pages of a medium-range magazine for a possible subject over veterans from Iraq and their actions in U.S., but I personally weren’t interested to incorporate it in my overall presentation portfolio.
Nice and sensitive job, but totally conventional, if you know what i mean..
