Workshop for Arab journalists

Hello everyone, Saw this announcement for a workshop “War Coverage/Safety for Journalists” for Arab reporters. It’s at AUB (American University of Beirut) and thought some of you might be interested.

The Journalism Training Program (JTP) at AUB, in cooperation with the Netherlands Embassy will conduct its workshop “War Coverage/Safety for Journalists” for Arab reporters on September 18-20, 2007.

To attend:
The workshop will be held from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Reuters Newsroom in Olayan’s School of Business, Ground Floor.
Those wishing to attend must send their CVs and three samples of their work.
The deadline to apply is August 31, 2007.

The workshop will be free of charge but non-resident Arab participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.

Hi, This is an old post, from August. So, I’m afraid the workshop is over, it was this past September.
