Pristina, Kosovo

Can anyone recommend a fixer in Pristina, Kosovo during November?

Wade I suggest you contact Ferdi Limani.

Although he is a photographer he may be able to advise you on good fixers.

Also try Andrew Testa who knows the “country” well.

You may need to get a good driver as well, with a 4×4 if you intend to visit any vilages of the main roads as the snow may have already fallen. If you plan to stay a while during the winter I strongly advise you to take several sets of warm cloths and see if you can rent a room in a local house or find a hotel that has a stove.

When I was there in Febuary 1999 the family house I was staying in had a stove/heater/communal gathering point.

I used to love sitting near this thing in the mornings before heading out into the snow and riding a sledge that the children were using down the hill. I was staying in Dragodan an area overlooking Pristina.

Oh the memories!

Good luck.
