Prolabs in Vienna
|
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good prolab in Vienna, Austria for E6 processing?
Since I live in Florisdorf, it would be nice to find one in that part of Vienna. I don´t have a car, so any labs should be within walking distance of public transportation.
Thanks in advance.

I have found two prolabs in Vienna on the Internet. One is Foto Fayer at Opernring and the other is Cyberlab at Schottenfeldgasse.
Does anyone have E6 experience with either?
In the past I have used two prolabs, one was at Landstrasse, and the other was near Rennweg. This is something like 10 years ago, so my memory of the locations may not be accurate.

Go to Foto Leutner http://www.fotoleutner.at/
Fayer used to scratch my Scalas and the E6-development offered by cyberlab is done at Leutner AFAIK.

Leutner is a very good lab in all aspects, do check them out. You won’t find much of anything in Floridsdorf, but with the public transport in Vienna (I miss it so!) it’s easy to get anywhere. Who needs a car in Vienna?! Forget Foto Fayer, overrated, and especially don’t get anything black & white done there, they have NFI (I know B&W not what you’re after, but thought I’d say so anyway). While I’m on about it, for B&W try Fotolabor Zebra ( http://members.chello.at/zebralabor), good hand work, not far from Leutner.

Thanks, Paul and Alex.
I left just one roll at Foto Fayer yesterday. I am heading to Mitterbach today and hopefully will come back with several rolls tomorrow, so your recommendations were in time.
I have to find out where Kaiserstrasse is, but I bought myself a pocket atlas of Vienna and hopefully I can find it easily.

Hi Martin
Thanks for your kind directions how to get to Foto Leutner, which I saw only today. Now I’ve been to Leutner three times. The last two times I used the U6 Burggasse-Stadhalle station to get there, and yesterday I discovered that using the elevator would get you out to the street Leutner is on. I also found other goodies along the way like Biomarkt Maran and another market on Kandlgasse.
I will be in Wien until the 26th. Alltogether three weeks. I am using Vienna as my base to make short photo excursions on the water theme. At the moment I am planning a trip to photograph the Burgruine Dürnstein in Wachau.
