Quetta, Pakistan

I hope all are doing well. I am eyeing a project in and
around Quetta, Pakistan. I have heard many disenfranchised
Taliban from Afghanistan have set up shop in Quetta.

Has anyone been there recently? Safe for independent travel
or would a trusted fixer be recommended.
