Rafal Gerszak is an award winning photographer and visual journalist born in Poland in 1980 and immigrated to Canada in 1990 where he resides now.

In 2007 he completed a three year photography program at Langara College located in Vancouver, Canada. His work has been seen in The Weekly Standard, Maclean’s magazine, Italy’s Sette magazine, USA Today, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, International Herald Tribune, The Dallas Morning News, Newsweek Poland and The Globe and Mail including many others.

The National Press Photographers Association and News Photographers Association of Canada recognized the documentary work and short films he compiled on the Vancouver Downtown Eastside and Afghanistan.
