Raphael Alves

Born in Manaus, Amazonas, Raphael Alves has been dedicating his work to visually transcribe anthropological, historical, social, and environmental issues of the region he lives in.

He studied Social Communication at Universidade Federal Amazonas (UFAM), Photography at Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL) and Visual Arts at Serviço Nacional de Aprnedizagem comercial (Senac). He is currently pursuing his Master of Arts degree in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at London College of Communication / University of the Arts, London.
