Reliable DVD / what brand ?

We have a large archieve that is located in FW-HD:s. Backup is in the CD:s stored an other location. Resently we moved to DVD:s cause the Leaf raw-files need lots of space. However, the reliable DVD seems to be hard to find. 20-30% of DVD:s will fail in verification and this is a pain in the *.

We use OS X 10.3.7 / Toast / LaCie-burner. So far I ´ve tried two different Verbatim, Primedisk and couple of Sony disks.
I called to our usual distributor and he reported similar comments coming from other studios.

If You have positive USER comments of other DVD-brands, please send a note. I ask for real life user comments, since we have tons of rumors and second hand opinions here in Finland already :-)
