Most say that this is the place to head if you are right off the plane in Kabul. Cheap-ish rooms at the lower end, internet (slow) in the courtyard (but you can use your laptop). At least two restaurants, money exchange, and they can get you local mobile phones/SIM cards, hook you up with drivers etc etc etc... Plus one of the owners, Weis, is probably the coolest guy in town to hang out with. And let's not forget about the lounge...
