Which Digital SLR

I’ve been shooting with the same canon eosA2 for many years now and am finally looking to get a digital slr. which brand/model is basically the same as this camera but digital? i’m finding it hard to decide but my basic needs are good shutter speed for street photo/news moments, light weight, able to use (if possible) my film lenses, depth of field able to throw things out of focus, and able to print a good black and white photo from the file. I don’t use flash much, never used a motor drive, pretty straight forward bw street style prints. I’ve read lots of reviews but just curious as to the lightstalker members opinions as they do alot of journalism. thanks ahead of time.
