Richard Kohler

richard kohler was born in guatemala city, in 1973, he made his bachelor of architecture at the university of miami and then his master of science in architecture and urban design at columbia university in new york, worked in several firms before dedicating himself to photography. his passion for photography started earlier in his life, like an artist finds its tool, richard found photography as a way of expressing what he sees and feels around him. He has worked on several documentary projects in latin america, urban landscapes, video, and travel photography. richard currently resides between new york, miami, and mexico, and is completing the work on a documentary of the coffee farmers in guatemala.
