About

Richard (b.1968) is a photogrpaher based in Brighton and London. He graduated from the University of Brighton with first class honours.

He has been commissioned by the Heritage Lottery Fund for a documentary project dealing with the restoration of a two hundred year old building, with a solo show and book publication due October 2007.

Richard was shortlisted for the Corbis ‘Student Photographer of the Year’ in 2006. He has also received a book commission by Photoworks which will be dealing with the twins themes of work and pleasure.

Specialising in portraiture, Richard’s documentary work often considers the details and contradictions in the everyday world around us.
