My fascination with taking pictures started over 40 years ago when I got my first camera, a Kodak 126 Instamatic (my 10th birthday present from my Mom and Dad ). This quickly lead to an obsession with photography. Since then, I have owned a number of Nikon SLR cameras, including my Dad’s old, no-frills, rugged Nikon Ftn, to a modern autofocus, autoexposure Nikon F4e.
In the summer of 2002, I bought my first digital camera. I was instantly addicted to the idea of infinite picture-taking capacity! No film means that I could take my photographic interests to a new level !!!
Six years later,I got the bug of digital photography and bought my second digital camera and liking the technology of the 21st century photography. In December of 2010 I acquired my third digital Nikon which I’m learning to enjoy it as well
I tend to work with Nikon cameras and accessories. That’s not an endorsement, just a personal preference!
Through years of practical experience, reading and looking at countless books, styles of photographers on line and contributing my weekly photos to The Suburban, and ME Magazine, I have refined my photographic skills.
I am a laid back photographer with many different photographic interests.
On the other hand, I usually bring a camera with me everywhere I go and take pleasure in bringing out the beauty in things we take for granted.
